Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real
|
Here’s to a new generation of peace-loving musicians shaking things up. Sure, these sons of a music legend and their three band-mates draw on ’60s-era passion as well as its musical icons, but these talented lads have an electric, rockin’ sound and message that is completely their own. From jazz to hard rock – with Hendrix licks and Afro-Cuban beats and a hint of their dad's folk-country style thrown in – Lukas Nelson & The Promise of the Real is a melting pot of sound. Rock, yes. Roll, yes. Plus, blues, psychedelia and a little country too. It’s groovy in a new millennium sort of way.
